My presentation highlighted Finnish Youth Research Insights with a focus on Sofia Laine’s Planetary Youth Research framework. Sofia Laine’s Planetary Youth Research offers a groundbreaking framework for understanding youth in the context of global challenges. Published in Youth and Globalization (2023), it lays a foundation for interdisciplinary studies on young people’s roles in planetary sustainability.
These events were made possible through collaboration with esteemed professor Vinod Chadra and his team from Sri Jai Narain Misra Post Graduate College, Lucknow in Association with Sociology of Population (RC-41) of International Sociological Association, Indian Association for the Study of Population (IASP), Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), India Health Action Trust (IHAT), Circle for Child and Youth Research Co-operation in India (CCYRCI), Sociology of Environment (RC-11), Social Demography (RC-18) & Urban Studies (RC-19) of Indian Sociological Society (ISS).
